We have a winner – Vesa Basford.  She posted over 100 likes of her little baby girl to win a Rhubarb baby hamper.  Included in this baby hamper are gorgeous Rhubarb pyjamas.  We hope she loves them.

So as we mentioned last week, Jane and I are off to the Gift/Trade Fairs in Melbourne next week and can’t wait.  We are really looking forward to seeing our suppliers and touching base again and hoping to see some fresh and exciting products that we could use in our baby hampers.  Kids in Style is high on the list, a lot of our suppliers will be there and from the exhibitors list, we can’t wait to see some new labels and see their products as we think that just by the look of their websites they would suit Baby Batches to a tea!

So watch this space as we get inspiration from the trade fairs it will all come through later in the year in the new baby hampers we think up – we are thinking bright and colourful baby hampers and will be sticking with some tradition also.

We are always looking to put together the most perfect baby hamper for the newborn.  Eleven years ago when I had my little baby boy, Daniel, I really only got flowers sent to me.  Unfortunately I had to throw these out when I left the hospital.  I was so sad as I knew how expensive these flowers were and most of them were not dead when I had to leave them at the hospital.  Since then, I have always made an effort to buy a beautiful baby present or baby hamper for friends and family.

So, Jane and I are heading the to Gift Trade Fairs next week, we are on the lookout for exciting new products to go into our baby hampers.  We were undecided about heading down to Melbourne for the fairs but when we thought seriously about it we kind of couldn’t avoid it….need to keep up with the trends.  Our only problem is we see so many trendy and cute things that would suit all of our baby hampers that we want to buy absolutely everything….and we can’t afford to so we have got a few ideas that we would like to see come through on Baby Batches so you will all have to stay tuned.  Baby hampers can be traditional or a bit funky and we are trying to add the funky factor to our baby hampers!  We will keep you updated with our trip to the fairs and what we find

So many people ask us our opinion on our favourite baby hamper from our website….this is a tough question as we love everything on our website, otherwise we wouldn’t sell them.  Personally my favourite changes from time to time but at the moment I am loving the boys baby hampers, especially the ones with the Rhubarb clothing.  This week my favourite (and also this baby hamper has been selling well this week) is the My Little Rocket baby hamper.
